Creative play. Shared wisdom.
Ancient Future Studio is growing a collection of creative tools to help us feel closer to ourselves, our communities, and the nature around us.
We’re starting with the Patterns in Nature idea cards, a journal, and activities to try on your own or together. As the collection grows, we hope children, families, educators, and elders will share their ideas and experiences and help shape what comes next.
Featured offeringsA card deck to inspire your inventions.
Made for curious minds aged 9 and up—children, families, educators, and anyone who enjoys looking closer.
Choose a card. Look for its patterns outdoors or around your home. What do you notice? Sketch a discovery, imagine an invention, or explore an idea together. There’s no single right answer.
The deck brings together nature-inspired image cards and a companion booklet with starting points for observation, creative play, and invention. Dive into some of the booklet sources mentioned here: ancientfuturestudio.com/patterns-in-nature-sources
